Agricultural Extension: The students during their two weeks visit to villages for data collection work will document, analyze and interpret the data (using appropriate PRA tools, secondary sources of information) to identify (a) demographic features, (b) social institutions, (c) status of agricultural technologies in practice, (d) gaps in technology adoption, (e) status of natural resources conservation and utilization, (f) sources of information for different purposes, (g) identify problems. of agricultural development and (b) workout economics of different enterprises.
During twelve weeks students stay in the villages conduct extension educational activities like general meeting. Group discussion meeting. Focused group discussion meeting. farm and home visit, method demonstrations, campaigns, interaction sessions, trainings, initiation of result demonstrations, organizing field days, etc. using appropriate teaching aids like posters, charts, graphs, maps, specimen models, objects, slides.
Organize an exhibition on relevant technologies of the area for a period of 45 days coinciding with the crop season. The specimens and objects will have to be replaced as and when required. All the students will work together till they organize the exhibition. Later, two students on rotational basis will be available every day at the exhibition to explain about the displays to the visitors.
Establish small demonstration units like vermicompost, azolla.

Develop the potential youth/farmers to become an entrepreneur/ agripreneur.
