Agricultural Economics: Preparation of Crop and enterprise budgets including cost, yield, return and profitability of the major enterprises of the village; Credit estimation and repayment plan suitable to the selected fanners; Estimation of marketable surplus and preparation of appropriate plan for place, time and quantity – to maximize profit; Preparation of alternate Farm plans using enterprise and partial budgets; Enlightening Farmers regarding Govt. Policies and programme; Convincing farmers regarding importance of Fanners’ Group collective action in marketing of produce, custom hiring of farm machineries, critical farm operations like harvesting based on RBRC experience & case studies.
Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation: Importance of APMC and its status of functioning; Importance of District Central Co-operative Bank and its functioning; Importance of commodity based groups/ societies and their establishment; Importance of grading, packing and marketing techniques for the major crops of the locality.
