Selection of root stock and scions, study of plant propagation by softwood, semi hard wood and hard wood cuttings, study of propagation by epicotyl, soft wood and approach grafting, plant propagation by T. Budding, inverted T. budding, patch budding, clip budding. Plant propagation by specialized structures – bulbs, corms, rhizomes, crowns, crowns, runners, stolon, tubers and suckers. Plant propagation by layering – Air layering, simple layering: compound layering, mound layering. Visit to commercial nurseries.
